maGIC BULLET looks preset missing

Ok So i just got magic bullet looks for Final Cut. I loaded from the installer in the disc. When i open final cut. Under plug ins all i see is the misfire plugins. I tried dragging the looksbuilder folder into the plug ins folder in final cut and still no dice. It shows up as looksbuilder but you click on the little edit button on the icon and nothing happens. The folder is there but its like its ignoring it.

I apologize if this is a final cut issue. I posted here in case its considered a magic bullet software issue.
 
What version of Final Cut are you running?

I tried to test it by downloading the trial version and it never appeared in Final Cut Pro Effects folders. It worked in Motion but not Final Cut.

After much attempts at research I've surmised you need to have Final Cut 5.1 or better to run it. 5.0.4 doesn't work. You can't get 5.1 anymore so you'd have to upgrade to 6.0 . (*I could be wrong but on their site it only mentions 5.1 or higher when discussing Final Cut)

The other reason is that every folder it's in needs to be read and write. If any folders or applications linked to the program in any way are listed as read only it won't recognize the program.
 
i am running 5.0.4. That makes sense. i might have to upgrade now. see if that works. because the demo wont even work.
