Magic Bullet Looks Crashing Prem CS5

I did a video project four months ago and my client gave me the funds to buy MB Looks. I haven't edited anything since then until they wanted the video in a different format. Now when I open the project it immediately crashes Prem. Upgraded. Did all that. New project and attempt to use Looks effect - boom - crash. Emailed MB a bit ago, but thought I'd check here too. Could it be I updated my graphics driver along the way and now that's crashing it? Anyone else have this problem? I now wish I would have just built the effects up in AE. I'm going to shoot myself if I have to reimage my box or redo everything with AE.
 
Are you using an ATI card? The Catalyst drivers post-10.04 crash Looks, and RedGiant are currently ignoring the problem.

There are some solutions people have posted, which seem to have worked for me. Or you could roll back the graphics card drivers.
 
I agree with Dave. I had the same issue and finally went with an nVidia GTX 460 to take advantage of CS5's hardware acceleration. This also solved both my Looks and Colorista crashing issues.
 
I saw something like that with Looks when I updated my NVIDIA driver...reverting back stopped the crashing.
