Magic Bullet is a godsend but the render on

an Intel 3.2 w/1 gb of ram is sooo slow.

Any other Vegas/Magig Bullet users who have a much more beefy system? I wonder if doubling my ram to 2 GB would help very much or if I should also upgrade to a dual processor box.

Any advice? Thanks

you should save your money, and learn to color correct using the standard NLE correctors. you can pull off magic bullet looks in WAY WAY less time.

i second Neil's suggestion. Nothing is better than knowing how to fully manipulate your images. however, if you want something cheap and fast, that is just as good as magic bullet, David Jimmerson has developed a little plugin that does just that.

Re: Magic Bullet is a godsend but the render on

Indeed. It's a plugin which uses Vegas's own tools to mimic the looks, but the render time is up to 85% faster. Click on the link in my sig.

At 1:22 central time, the VASST site is down, at least through my provider. I'll check back later. :P

David, the "Celluloid for Vegas 5 Standalone" - is it a Vegas plugin or a standalone program?

It's a Vegas 5 plugin. It's stand-alone because it incorporates some features from Ultimate S, but you don't need Ultimate S to run it.
