Magic Bullet HELP!

Ok, I've got my project edited and now I'm ready to do some CC and filtering, and I go in to FCP and try to apply the MB Look Suite Filter to a clip and it tells me that the plug-in is in the wrong directory. It asks me if I want to look for it, so I do, and I locate it and select it, and then is gives me a big red in the FCP Canvas telling me that the filter is offline. I need to get this done in two days...any ideas why FCP is having so much trouble with it?

I really don't know the answer, and haven't had this problem. I do know that when I use MB with FCP, I actually have to go FILE>OPEN and then find MB Look Suite in the finder. This gives me ALL the MB look suit effects in the FCP effects window. Hope this does something for you. Good luck.

That's how the look suite works for everyone, it's just how they have the favorites/presets set up in a project file..

read this thread, it doesnt sound exactly like your problem but may help..

this is a common problem for people who updated their mac system software recently this last go around
go the Magic Bullet website and click through the support stuff and you will find a link for a new new OS system update, install that update and it will fix the problem.

I think the new update is even called the same number as the last one but has this little conflict fixed ... but go through the Magic Bullet site to make sure you get the exact OSX update.
