Magic Bullet/Crop

Don't know if anybody ever had this problem, but I cropped two video clips, one to the left and one to the right, to give that split screen effect. Everything was great.. until I added a film effect using Magic Bullet.

When added the effect to one clip, everything is cool, but if I add the effect to both clips, then one clip disapears, leaving one video clip Crop with the film effect. How can I add the effect to both video and still keep my split screen effect. It is now 2am... I tried everything, so maybe someone here can help!

Thanks in adanvace.

p.s The problem only occurs when using Magic bullet. I CC with regular Vegas presets and all is good.

All I did was drag the effect to the video clip, so yes just the event, the videos are on 2 different tracks, to get that split screen effect it has to be on 2 different tracks... right?

Yeah I can just take away the split screen, but MB has to be able to add an effect to 2 both clips without eliminating the other.

If you look at the envelope timeline in the effects window you can by change the little arrow down to the left if you want the effect be done before or after the cropping.

Can you post the 2 frames and give me a shot at it.

Yup! I will do so when I get home, I'm at work right now.. when you say post the frames you mean the actual clips? I can't post clips here... so how will you be able to do this, "yousendit" maybe?

i was taking about 2 frames and maybe a exapmle of the sliptscreen (1 frame)without MB of course.

have you tried adding the film effect to one clip, and then render and save it. then just drag it back to the timeline with the film effect already saved on it so you only have to add one when you do split screen. thats what I do.

Didn't think about that, but that's going through too much, I just used the errow thingie like MovieSwede suggested, that worked great... maybe you should do that also, instead of having to render then drag.. too much for me, but to each is own.
