Magic Bullet - best 'looks' software for Premiere?

I found a vid on the forum:

I'm not saying I want those exact looks, but I think it's quite a before/after comparison. Is the general consensus that Magic Bullet Looks is pretty much the best color correcting or 'looks' software out there? I usually just play with the color corrector in Premiere but I think I want something a bit more pro.

You might also want to look into Da Vinci Resolve. It's much more intuitive than Looks. Not to say Looks is bad or anything but if color correction and grading is what you want to invest more time in, I would learn that.

Agree, Magic bullet looks and colorista are both pretty good plugins, I would call them "capable", but by no means the 'best" out there. Premiere pro and after effects alone can do the majority of what colorista can do, Looks has a lot of filters that come in handy for certain aesthetics.

Totally different workflow involved with Resolve and it is more of an application designed for CC and Grade.

"Looks" applications take a different approach.

Resolve is free... Try it for your self.
