I get an error when trying to use the magic bullet plug-ins. it says cannot read source file? what is the problem? i googled for the answer but got nothing. the look suite works though.

Look For this specific question in the FAQ:
I upgraded to Final Cut Pro 5.1, installed MBE v2.0, but just relized I needed to install MBE v2.1.1. After doing this I am getting errors when applying MisFire and Looksuite presets. How do I resolve this issue. **This also applies to Magic Bullet Editors v1 to v2.1.1 upgrade.

Maybe this apply to Final Cut Pro 5.1:
Look Suite 2.1 causes After Effects 7 to crash on Intel Mac systems due to incompatibility between Apple's Rosetta emulation and Look Suite. We do not recommend using Magic Bullet Suite 2.1 on Intel Mac systems at this time. We will post a solution soon, sorry for the inconvenience.
