Magi bullets for photoshop

don't be lazy. to do a quick color correction would be quicker than trying to install and apply a preset. use curves and levels. what kind of look are you going for?

ok milk, thank you.
they look a little clichè. i'm looking to obtain a bleach bypass so its better i move my as* and learn some CC (or open another post...)

my favorite way is to duplicate the layer, then turn the top one on blending mode "color" then go to the underneath layer and adjust your curves, bending down the dark side and pushing up the light and messing aronud a littel bit until you get a look you like. then on the top layer, you go into edit>adjust>hue/saturation and you can adjust your saturation there, and if you want to warm it up or cool it, then make an adjustment layer and adjust your curves individuall, ie, drop the blues to make it goldish.

this is a little exaggerated, but an example. i did it in about 45 seconds.

so if you put some time into it, and mess around a bit more, you could get it looking pretty cool.
