I agree 100% with you on the first sentence! ;D

And thanks, some great links that I'd never been to. Awesome stuff at 101, just what I was looking for.

Re: magazines and websites

Here are my 3 fav mags:

Videomaker
www.videomaker.com
-A awesome all-DV mag, probably the best. I'm lucky cause my school carries it in the library. I strongly recommend a subscription.

Moviemaker
www.moviemaker.com
-has some good stuff, mostly about the art of movie making. Not too much stuff about DV, but a great source none-tha-less. I just picked up the annual "Beginner's guide to making movies 2005" and its jam packed with tons of usefull info. Get your hands on that one if you can.

Electronic Musician
www.emusician.com
-A good source for learning to make your own music. Has lots of stuff on scoring your movies. In the issue I just got, they reviewed Garritan Personal Orchestra, and as soon as I can, I'm gonna get it.

The internet is great, but I love getting these mags cause I can read em anywhere. Work, Class, the shitter, you get the idea...

Re: magazines and websites

Oh, I forgot to mention Triggerstreet.com
I love this site because its a place where you can view peoples movies and even post your own. I have seen tons of great flicks that have inspired me to make my own. They also always have online film competitions. SO, check this site out!!
