Macro Lenses

Macro means the image on the film plane is real life or larger. Normal lenses do not record the image life sized. Usually 1/4 or 1/2 life size.

I looked at the link. At $56, my guess is that it is full of chromatic aberation and distortion. SD will probably mask some of the problems but you will probably notice a degraded picture through a lens like this.

I have never tried it. Feel free to get a second opinion.

Incidentally, sometimes people post links on here to get bites for their products. Not you right?

Nah I was looking around for the 16x9 0.45x fisheye lens but they stopped selling them on B&H, so I looked around and this lens popped up.
Was hoping somebody here would have some test footage with it or to find out if its any good.
