MacPro running Windows Premiere CS3

Hi Danny

So, you're happy with Vmware in terms of application speed? Did you try bootcamp?

Thanks for any advice on this issue
JohnG

I do run the vmware fusion, it is still in development, there definetly some application interface issues, and you have to lauch it with OSX Spaces a few times before it actually works. i used it a lot when I first got my mactel, becos i had many windows projects I had to complete. however of late I have found myself more and more in the mac enviroment, hardly booting windows, I have found myself working with CS3 mac and using FCS2 Studio for quick preset templates eg motion, and livetype,. I tried final cut pro on a couple short film projects. Its all the same to me, I really tried to find out which areas made it more powerful than PPro cs3, I found none. I am fairly new to both platforms interfaces so I will not be the best judge, I edited with Avid for the longest time. I the ERA of fast computers and digital filmmaking I am pressed to stick with the cheapest, most practical, upgradeable multi OS NLE around.

(3) Adobe will give you NO support on Mac Intel. They don't recognize them as stable.

no support?
Really that sucks,

I usually just rant on their forums, and stuff gets updated.

I have had zero problems on the mac with Adobe products so far, I am knocking on wood

Will the plug-ins that work on the Windows version of Premiere Pro work on the Mac version as well? I know PhotoShop requires separate plug-ins for each platform.
