incorporating dvx into small event photography biz and i'm wondering whether the mack warranty is a good value.

Any warranty is worth the $$$ if anything but just for peace of mind. In a business sense it's along the same line as equipment insurance. I've had a few Mack warranties and never a problem with them. I've got a local dealer / service center that honors the warranty with no problem. I would suggest first finding a reputable service center and then verify they honor the Mack warranty.
It's sure nice to not have to pay out of pocket if something goes wrong during the 2-5 years you have the warranty.
