MacBook Pro with FCP

I can't seem to find an answer to my question in the search. I'm trying to find out how to import the HVX footage that I shot tonight. I have transfered the footage from a friend of mine into my MacBook Pro, and I can't seem to figure out how to take the multiple folders contained in the P2 cards and import them into FCP.
