Macbook pro - Core Duo processor

Hi all, I usually edit on a iMac wit ha an i7 processor but I have a project were i need to travel light and I may need to buy a 2nd hand cheapie Macbook pro from eBay or something.

I did do a search thru the forum and I know the Apple site says it should run fine, but anybody out there running FCPX on an old ish macbook, your thoughts appreciated.
