Mac wont read Transcend brand SD card

Just bought a Transcend 2GB SD card works fine in my D50 but my mac wont recognize it when i use my card reader. Can transfer from camera no problem so it isnt entirely useless but does anyone have any idea what i can do? i tried reformatting etc didnt work.

My Sandisk card works fine. I wonder if its my sandisk reader

I guess i should just have stuck with Sandisk cards

could be the reader, give it a shot in another reader if you have access. try connecting the D50 to the mac directly with the card.

yeah i had figured it may be my reader is unable to read anything above 1GB
tried it on a PC and still no go.

the 2GB transfers fine straight from my D50
