Mac Utility for Combining Two 2-channel .wav Files into a Single 4-channel .wav File?

Hi everyone.

I have a Tascam DR-40 4-track audio recorder. When I'm recording in 4-track mode, the recorder actually generates two files - one .wav file with channels 1 & 2, and a second .wav file with channels 3 & 4. Can anyone recommend a Mac / OSX utility that I could use to quickly combine both files into a single, 4 track audio clip? It doesn't take too long to combine the files in Audacity, but when I have a bunch of audio cuts to combine, I was just curious if there's some sort of utility out there that can perform this task very quickly.

Thanks!

Assuming you want a 'Poly' file, Wave Agent is the utility.
It can also be done in Sound Forge Pro 10 & 11 (if you have it).
However.. Wave Agent is free. With versions for Mac and PC.
