Mac Pro: Two 2.0Ghz Dual Core or Two 2.66Ghz Dual Core?

I'm looking to buy a Mac Pro, and i'm deciding if the $300 difference is worth it between a Two 2.0Ghz Dual Core or Two 2.66Ghz Dual Core. Would it make any real substantial difference in editing HD in FCP6? (and the rest of the Final Cut Studio 2)

I'm planning on sticking with the stock graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB), harddrive (250GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA), memory (2 x 512MB), and 1 superdrive. I'm gonna buy extra SATA harddrives, and 1 more gig of memory (crucial.com) separate, since it's a lot cheaper and easy to install. Also gonna purchase a 23" Apple Cinema Display.

I know I just read something somewhere, but I can't find it. It was an article stateing that the 2.66 was the way to go. The performance increase from the 2.0 to the 2.66 was well worth the extra money. But for what it cost to upgrade to the 3.0, the performance gains did not justify the price tag.

I think the jump was 30% increase vs. 10% adjusted. I thought it was at www.barefeats.com but I can't find the article anywhere.

Good Luck

Hmm, definetly somethign to think about. Currently I have a G5 dual 1.8ghz with FCPHD (4.5) with 1.5gb of memory, and that runs great for SD, I edit in real time while browsing the web. (lolz) So I figured if I get a dual, dual core 2.0, it should be fast enough to edit in realtime, HD footage. I guess I have to decide if 30% increase in speed is worth $300.
