Spam Assassin Mod
Hey everyone, I bought a Mac Pro last month - basic config and added 4gigs of RAM afterwards for a total of 6gigs. RAM is the same speed as the original RAM. Anyway, I'm not exactly sure what this issue can be. The computer runs smoothly, but after a while the animations will stop working.
For example, I have my dock set to animate when mouse over - it doesn't even move at all when I do it. When I click an icon in the dock, it'll get bigger but freeze as it does. Moments later it will go back into the dock and not move again. I also have the corners set to clear the screen...when the dock freezes, the corners stop working. Also online (using the latest version of Safari), when I put my cursor over a link the hand doesn't appear.
I find this all very strange behavior and am curious as to what can be causing this. As soon as I restart though, the problem goes away. I'm not one to restart for a temp fix though...so any ideas are all greatly appreciated.
