Mac book pro

Been out of the computer game for a while and have lost touch with new apple products. I bought a mac pro desktop a few years ago but I am now in the market for a Mac Book Pro. I will be using it mostly for college but I am a film student so also a lot of editing (I use final cut studio). Id love to hear any suggestions you guys have on screen sizes/ configurations.

The Apple Store employees are generally pretty knowledgeable and not on commission so they'll be able to give you honest feedback on what you need hardware wise.

The 13" models are pretty good and might be just fine, although if you are interested in film stuff and plan to do a lot of it the horsepower of a 15" is going to be preferable, as will the added screen space. Consider the Hi-Res 15" screen, and the updated graphics (FCP X comes out this month and will enable the GPU via OpenCL for faster rendering). Apple's back to school is rumored to start on Wednesday so wait until then to score the best deal possible (probably a free iPod touch + student discount).
