Mac Book Pro no PCMCIA, will it work with the DVX200

So I am sure most fo you know that Apple released it's first Intel Powerbook today, now called a Mac Book Pro. It is a dual core Intel based mac, but it doesn't have a PCMCIA slot and instead has the newer and faster ExpressCard/34 slot which is a PCIe expansion slot. Now they announced that INTEL Mac version of Final Cut Pro will be released in March for $49 if you return your CD, but my question is does this make this machine unable to use the P2 card in your laptop, so you will need some sort of PCMCIA adapter now (I assume this is true because the slot is smaller for ExpressCard/34), so this means the new Mac Book Pro's are not ideal for the HVX200, or are their good reliable PCMCIA card adapters that can be used?

There's still FW400 so you can connect directly to the camera or to a P2 drive. And chances are there will be a PCMCIA to ExpressCard adapter for a fair price as the computers actually ship. But even with all that said, a desktop machine is still the ideal platform for editing.

Right, which is why you would need an adapter. Point is, there are still ways to get the footage onto this computer.
