M42 mount or Nikon SLR? [quality check]

Hi,

I just wonder if someone would know if it would be better to go for a Zeiss M42 line over a Zeiss ZF for the Nikon mount? Al is going on a SGpro.

Is there more benefits than the M42 to be cheaper than the ZF, or does the lenses makes as good pics as the new SLR lenses does?

The lenses are, IINM, the same. The mount is the only thing that's different.

Do you know the quality of the Zeiss Jena lenses?
If compared to the quality of a Zeiss ZF lens?
