m2t, SD and AVCHD in same project?

I shoot conserts with 2 cams, DVX100B and Canon HV20 (PAL p25).
I then edit SD and m2t in the same project and render it to mpeg2 for dvd with no problems (vegas 8).
Question: I intend to buy an AVCHD cam and shoot with 3 cams -
with in that way 3 different formats - will it be possible to edit them together
in the same project and render out the whole project to mpeg2?

As long as the timeline supports it, you can mix any footage you want. So, depending on the flavor of AVCHD and whether or not it's supported in Vegas, you should have no problems.

Well, the way I'd phrase it is: as long as VEGAS supports it, you can mix any footage. The timeline technically supports any format (i.e., you can put SD 60i on a 1080/24p timeline and Vegas will work with it).

Vegas doesn't support some formats, so that's the only restriction. If it's a format Vegas supports, then you can do anything and everything with it on any kind of timeline mixed in with any other kind of footage at any resolution or frame rate, whether interlaced or progressive, at any aspect ratio, etc...
