Here is the can of worms. I am looking at either if these units. and here is the can opener. wondering from people who have used the brevis, there seems to be some concern from some of the reviews about dust. Is this an issue from people that have had the unit for a while?? just trying to decide. I love both, but being canadian I am leaning towards the breivs. I have a canon xha1. and good nikon glass collection from my stills camera. Chime in and help me make this desicion.

Well the XHA1, first off is one of those cameras that perform great on all adapters pretty much.
I personally think the Brevis is the way to go , not just because you are in Canada and believe me Duty is a big pain but the Redrock encore i think is too bulky, the new Brevis is shining strong with updated features and their support is outstanding, Dennis is always there.
I did try and Encore out at CINE GEAR and in all fairness it looked good, but I have just seen too many ignored posts and cries for help on the Encore on the message boards and forums.

Maybe RR service has improved but that scared me when i was choosing my adapter.
i think Cinevate /Brevis has a good return policy, so if u live in Canada i think i would go that way.

Check Vimeo out for XHA1 and Brevis or Cinevate and the XHA1 and Redrock Encore
