Don't see a lot of talk around her about the Redrock M2 Encore.. Looks pretty awesome and very reasonably priced.. Anyone used one? Image quality vs Brevis? User reviews/experience anywhere?

Tx..

i can't really give you an in depth comparison as i have only used the brevis, letus. etc, just a little bit. i can say that i sold my old redrock because i was sick of it's sh*t. the new redrock is a whole different animal. light loss is very minimal. 1/2 stop and that's for real. edge to edge is as perfect as i've seen and the build quality, which was never an issue for redrock, is top notch. it's a solid piece of gear. the image quality is brilliant. being that the ground glass is optimized for light transmission, you won't get bokeh as nice as say the g35, but that's the trade-off. pick your priority.

Hey nice to see u cheezweezl. Missed seeing u at the Cine Gear dude.... What did it for u there, besides the free wine and beer? What did u like? I saw the REDROCK on EX1 there, it was looking good!
Cheers

ya phil. i looked forward to hanging with u. i ended up with gigs on both days so had to take the cash over the gear-porn-fest opportunity. lol... still we should hang sometime and compare these adapters of ours...

I upgraded my redrock M2 to the Encore and it is, as cheezweezl said, a completely different animal in a VERY good way. coupled with my EX1, it's an absolutely gorgeous system that works perfectly in my opinion. no complaints, all praise! how's that for ya?
