Had to reinstall the OS (win XP, SP 2) and while with the old instalation my external M-Audio Firewire Solo worked perfectly well now, with the new installation the card could simply not be installed. The installation process is a two step one and the driver instals initially, then asks to reboot (and then to finish the second part of the installation) and when the PC reboots nothing happens, the installation process does not continue. Any ideas how to deal with this, really grateful!
