If this is the wrong place to post this question, then mod's please forgive and move to the correct place.
I have several older Zeiss lenses, which have an M-42 mounting setup.
I use a Letus Extreme with an M-42 adapter (also from Letus), and the lip off of the mounting threads on two of these lenses is too deep to allow me to thread the lenses into the M-42 adapter. Actually, if they didn't have a lip they'd work perfectly. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you solve it without somehow grinding down the lenses mounting lip?
These are great old lenses, and I'd really like to get some use out of them.
