M-105 DSLR Mic

Haven't used one but it sure looks like just another Chinese knock-off POC (piece of cr*p) to me. What do you expect for $50? Get real!
 
It was video reviewed here, https://vimeo.com/42061215 I'm just looking for something to to flash IV's or Voxies when I don't have an interviewer, they I have Tascam and Sehinner Radio gear was just looking for an alternative to the onboard mic on my 600d
 
On-board audio is not preferable, but in a situation where you absolutely must use it, and in staying within a "lower budget", I'd say checkout the Rode Videomic (what this thing is copying). It seems to get good reviews for a cheaper unit. You might be able to find one used for cheap.
