LTM CinePAR MKI v MKII

Anyone knows the difference between LTM CinePAR MKI and MKII. Besides the hour counter in the back is there any other difference?
 
I don't like either of them. Nothing but bad experiences here. Maybe the one's I've worked with have been faulty, but I've seen consistent overheating, yoke locking issues, and strait up failure to strike amongst other things.

Their magnetic ballast also. I've had to put it outside under a sound blanket to keep the noise down. It also loves to overheat.

Yes, if you but a ballast under a sound blanket it will overheat...of course.

If the LTM are maintained properly they will provide dependable service for years, but just like anything else abuse them and they are trash. I have Arri, LTM, Desistit, and Strand HMI's all are reliable because they serviced regularly in our shop.
