I have a dummy and vlocks to do 'jobs' with my canon R6.

At the weekend I strip this off and might take the battery to my kid brothers birthday party.

Im feeling the need to get a 2nd LP-E6 battery.

Does anyone have expierince with fakes.. especially with USB3 to be charged from a powerbank.?

At £100 for the genuine one.. im almost gonna buy a used R7 as two canon mirrorless would not hurt.

The legit OEM canon batteries are miles ahead of the third party knockoffs.

Save yourself the trouble and buy the latest Canon version. I own several. Yes they’re expensive. Yes they work better.

I have used many Meike Canon batteries and they've all been great, they also make a quality EF to RF vari nd adaptor that in many tests is better than the Canon version with less tint - have been happily using that for a couple of years now so appreciate their stuff isn't crap

Thanks for comments. I went for the newer battery
1) it is £30 not £100
2)It has usb3 charge so will talk to my 'powerbank'

The usb facility is 'a big deal' as OEM batts need the mains to charge.

THat enables me to be 'travel' offgrid with this small kit
camera
powerbank

Which is a pretty small build and gets me a few more minutes than just being a camera with a single battery.

Of course on 'pro' jobs Ill use my Vlock.

Today I was on my bike R6 and 50mm only and got a few pleasing images. This battery will slightly extend the reach of that.
