LP-E6 battery plate REVERSED?

I'm looking to mount something to the back of my monitor that has 2x Canon LP-E6 plates. I'm looking to mount this object using "back" of the battery plate as if i was inserting the battery. It's easy to find battery plates that ACCEPT the battery but impossible to find the plate that imitates said battery. Short of taking actual battery and removing the back plate for my purposes is there another way?

Something like this would probably do the job, although it's not much cheaper than just buying a clone battery and taking it apart:

This looks like it would be a good job for a high school kid who wants to learn how to use his school's new 3-D printer.

Sadly, I just recycled a couple of dead LP-E6 batteries a few weeks ago -- I would have gladly sent them to you for the parts if I'd heard about this in time.

Yeah, the 3d printer route as the batteries themselves seems quite flimsy so i'm afraid that the mount might not be strong enough using recycled batts.
