Lowel ViP Pro-Light (multi-voltage) US & Euro protocols

I got lucky and my friend gave me his 5-set Lowel ViP Pro Focus/Flood lights. I need to invest in the bulbs. Now I went to a local pro gear shop and I was told that I only need to get the Euro bulbs and unfortunately they didn't carry them. I'll also have to find a Euro plug cable as well.

Would these work? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/818655-REG/Sylvania_54460_GLF_Lamp_235W_230V.html

Also I'm a bit worried because B&H sells the ViP Pro Focus models in 120 and 240. Isn't the model Multi-voltage? Shouldn't I only invest in the bulbs and not worry about anything else?

Thanks

Where are you located? Using a 230v lamp on 120v power will be *half* are bright and extremely warm in color temp. I thought those fixtures were multi voltage as well but I could be mistaken. There really isn't anything different in the fixture other than insulation and rating. It also goes to reason that a fixture that is rated for a higher voltage will be fine for a lower voltage.

The wiring and lamp hardware will work with either voltage. But the e bulbs themselves are not multivoltage - buy the correct ones for the location where you will be using them.

Be aware that Pro-lights built roughly before April 2003 will not accept the 235 watt 230 volt lamp. The front housing on newer Pro-lights have been modified to accept them, as well as the generally more robust 120 volt FVM and FVL lamps.
Hopefully the photo I tried to attach made the trip and should show you if your Pro will work without modification.

You guys are awesome. Thank you very much. THe lights atm are in Turkey. I'm currently in NYC, so I can't physically see any housing. What I will do is purchase just one bulb and see how it goes. Then maybe in the next couple of weeks I can wait for more stock on Amazon. They're about 16 bucks on Amazon whereas on BH they're around 22 bucks. Thank you guys.
