Lowel Pro Light Quick Fix ????

I need a replacement bulb asap, and seems that the only place that sells something close to what I need is Office Max.

I own a Lowel pro light and it takes a 250 watt 120v bulb. My question is will this bulb from Office Max work or will it blow fry my circuit ?

Dunno about that one, but B&H could probably overnight one to you. Best to keep a supply of spares for Lowel lights...

Yeah being rated at 82V I dont think I'd try it. Might work. My guess is it'll pop the instant it sees 110. Overnight it like Ted said. Might want to try a photo store too. I got lucky once with a globe that just happened to be used in still photography too.

360w may be too hot for the fixture. More often than not, I'm looking for less wattage than the 250w and would reallly like about 150w.

I have a pro light and its recommended bulbs blow easily, like if you give them a wrong look. They don't take kindly to being tilted, jostled or bumped. You might also check the specialty bulb drawer at Lowes.

buy the bulbs anywhere you please and if they produce the results use them; I won't tell anyone.

If it fits into the socket and is the same voltage for the fixture it should work fine. An 87 volt lamp in a 120 volt fixture won't last long though.

Also, fixtures are ALWAYS under-rated for wattage. Always.
