Hello
I'm bit confused about lowel kits , can it work on 220V , do I need 220v lamp
DV Pro 55 Five Light Kit, LB35 Soft Case (220-240VAC/12VDC)
what is VDC and VAC ?

If the lowel kits in question are tungsten then yes you just change out the bulb from a 110v to a 220v to operate in a 220v country. The fixture itself would generally have nothing on it that would limit it otherwise.

VAC is voltage alternating current
VDC is voltage direct current

Most tungsten kits will operate off of AC which is directly from the wall plug. DC requires a power supply in between the wall (AC) and whatever is wanting to use the power supply to convert AC to DC. Our LED 600 is an example of a DC fixture that does require a power supply of some sort between it and the wall for adaptation. Thats a good thing too because its part of why our fixture adapts so easily to so many different kinds of batteries.

An AC fixture will require an inverter if you want to run it off batteries to convert the DC from the battery into AC that the fixture (like the lowel for example) wants to be able to run.

Hope this helps.

That one says it comes with 120v bulbs. It also says one of the lights (maybe the pro light?) can operate off of DC. You need 220v bulbs and you must also verify whatever element in there is running off DC if its power supply will adapt to 220v.

They are for converting tungstun to daylight. So if you have a room with windows you put those blue gells (CTBs) on the lights and it converts the tungstun light to a daylight balanced light. Daylight is 5600kelvin and tungstun is 3200kelvin.
