Low Rumble-- Where Did it Come From?

Just did a few "man on the street" style interviews. I get back to the editing bay and find I've got a low rumble in some, but not all of the audio track. Without knowing the exact frequency, I would estimate it at being in the 50-80hz range. I applied a high pass on it in post set at 105hz, and it seemed to get rif of most of it.

These interviews were shot in a school hallway with no low "rumblings" taking place.
I'm using the ME66 mounted on the stock Panasonic mount on one channel and the internal mic on the other channel. I tried a 'fill right' and a 'fill left' to isolate the channel it was on (this probably isn't the best way to isolate the sound) it seemed to be in both channels, with the ME66 channel coming in stronger.

Does anyone have any ideas on settings or hardware issues that could cause this.

Thanks,
Joe
