Low Budget Studio Lighting

[Tabula Rasa Productions]

Me and my photographer friend are starting up a small business, and was wondering if there was any cheap lighting kits that we could play around with that won't break our bank while we learn the trade.

I am looking for something with daylight balanced bulbs and a softbox, since he wants to do some portrait shooting.

Yes, the CL-SFT1 kit we sell is great for daylight or tungsten color use:

Just add a stand and you're ready.

i am looking for a key light, fill and backlight set up, but that softbox looks like a good option for one of the 3 lights i need
