My issue is about HPX-2000, but there's no category on it. So I post it here. One of our cameraman/editor have problems with some P2 cards. He shoot then return to his editing suite and found nothing on his cards. Like if he formated the cards but he didn't. Is somebody had this bug yet? How could he proceed to get his footage back?

Your cameraman must have done something wrong -- in the years and tens of thousands of users, nobody has ever reported anything like this. I would suspect he must either have a) mixed up which cards were which, or b) formatted the cards.

If they have been formatted, it's possible that Panasonic can recover the data from them. You'd have to contact a service center to see if it's possible for your cards.

I'm agree with you, the 1st thing I tought is that's probably an 18'' case... But what I've just know few minutes ago is that cards mount on OSX and he can go in the clip bin and all the data is there! But when he try to copy or transfer in L&T, a message appear about a structure problem. He said that few weeks ago, the cards don't want to format so he deleted clips one by one to get space for the next shooting. So if the data still get on the cards, how could he get it back???

OK, you see stuff in the CLIP bin...those are just stills, not movie files. Look in the VIDEO folder...is there footage in there?

LOCK the cards now, if you haven't.

yes there's data files in the video folder. In the Finder, all seems to be right but when it comes to copying or tranfering files, a stucture problem is displayed. The cards are locked right now to prevent unwanted formating.

This won't help you now, but in the future, make sure that the write-protect tabs on the card are engaged prior to inserting into the card reader.

Is it possible that the problem came with the use of both R Series and E Series? They have both card models.
