Ummm.... LOTR - The Return Of The King, Mystic River, Cold Mountain wasn't horrible. Pirates was sweet, and thought that it deserved some recognition.

My thoughts are don't bash it till you try it. Sure, Lost was only popular because of Sophia's Daddy. But, it wasn't horrible writing. It was amusing sometimes.

I've lived it. I get the story. Made sense to me.

It *was* the epitome of an "independent" film, though, wasn't it? A lot of talking and not many sets.

I would say a "wannabe" inde! Give me 500.000 and Bill plus the DVX. Bam a true small inde! What you have here is someone trying to copy a style that comes from lack of funding. I hear she was going to shoot it on DV and her father said to go with film will she still has the chance. 8)
