lost a P2 card

The grip on my last project this Saturday told us a joke:

A scientist gave a challenge to an astronomer, a mathematician, and a grip: Take three marbles, go into an empty room, and see what you can come up with in one hour...

The astronomer went into an empty room, was there for an hour, and when the scientist went to check what the astronomer had come up with, he saw the three marbles laid into the ceiling of the room, showing a miniature model of the Solar system.

When the scientist went to see the mathematician's work, he found the mathematician with three marbles standing on top of each other in a perfect balance, with no tools involved.

Pretty good, said the scientist, and went to check out the grip's work. What he found was the grip and one marble, the second one was broken, and the third was missing (er... in the grip's kit).​
Supposedly, only grips appreciate the joke.

Have you lost your P2 on the set? Check with your grip! :laugh:

Yeah, I was just being facetious with the whole 'pet microchip' reference. Hence, my comment on allowing someone to see who they 'stole' it from. ;) :)

I had a producer I was working for lose a master tape of a days shooting once. So add another advantage to the P2 side. Once the P2 is downloaded to disk, the producer will not take hard disk into bar with the lead actress, get drunk and loss said hard disk (hopefully).
