Lossfest

Robbie Comeau

Como's back. back again
Hello!

I'm directing/filming a short for Lossfest in Mid January (hopefully) called Time In A Bottle.

My history: I've directed 3 films, some interviews/documentaries with my friends, and some short films on the side that were just for fun.

However, I'm serious with my films, and the more I'm into filmmaking, the more interested I get. But in all honesty, I don't even really know what I'm doing/directing.

I've directed films before, yes, but seriously, I'm missing out on so much and not doing half the stuff every other director does.

If you wouldn't mind, pointing me to some tips would help a lot for this shoot.

It's an all day shoot in the cold winter's forest, probably a 2 day'er.

Any advice would help, as I'm learning on my own, and on this site :)

Thanks,

Robbie

Didn't I just have a really long conversation with you about this on MSN?

Kind of like pouring water through a strainer I guess...

We did? Haha.

Yea Loki gave me some interesting advice, just wanted some different inputs on OTHER filmmakers, as Loki clearly stated: "Every director has their own way of directing."
