Losing major quality in export!

Hey guys, I have a problem with exporting in Premiere 2.0

When I capture everything is premium looks good and no grain. I shoot 24p (non Advanced) and I load it up with the 24p preset and change the pulldown to 2:3:2:3:instead of 2:3:3:2. I'll apply some basic color correction nothing much and even sometimes none. It is usually day time shots with enough light to expose the shot properly. But when I export I go through all of the setting and try to make sure its as uncompressed as possible but everytime its done exporting I get:

1. Grain

2. Slight pixelation throuhout the image like it was compressed .

3. Sometimes the picture comes out a bit muddy.

So my questions are, what could I be overlooking. Should I change my project settings? Is .mov sharper than .avi? how can I get rid of the grain that plages me?

Anyone who can help out in anyway is greatly appreciated, thanks

(sorry if there are any other threads about this I couldn't find any that helped)

what format are you exporting to? and what are your export settings? without this info nobody really knows what you are are doing which makes it difficult to offer assistance.

Here is the currents ettings I am using for the export.

I ussually export to avi before trying mov but both look the same. It isn't really apparent through images so I cant include a screen of footage. I shoot NTSC.

Is there anything else I should include?

the settings look fine, but is there another option for a compressor aside from 24p advanced since you did not shoot advanced? i dont have time to check right now but id try a different compressor first since its not going to know that it needs to recompress the frames using the advanced compressor. you could also try just leaving the "recompress" box checked and still use the 24p advanced compressor. let me know cause everything else looks fine as long as your compile settihgs are normal.

I've checked for the plain old 24p session and there is none. So you think I should just stay with the 24pa? or move to 60i?

you have to create a custom plain old 24p seesion, but if you do not have hardware/software to support regular 24p you wont have an option for it in a compressor. i would just set up a regular 24p project, and select the recompress button and try that first. your footage has to go through recompression to add any effects/color correction and whatever to begin with, so its not adding anything additional anyway.
