I might be the only person around here going to see this one, but I wanted to post up a topic on it anyway. The preview showed when I went to see Ring2 and although it has the strangest cast I could think of for this movie (Heath Leger and the guy who played Batman---forgive me, coffee isnt fully flowing yet), I still want to see it. I like the look of it, and I love skatefilms. When I was a kid, my brother skated all the time, and I could even do handstands on my wooden board, and catamoran (sp?) down the street with him. Then neoprene wheels came out and I almost killed myself. haha!!!! This may very very well be a really bad movie, but I will still go to see it. The guys who were sitting behind me at Ring2 were disgusted that Hollywood would try to make a movie out of their sacred history. :)

i like the look of it definitly. why cant more films look like this? im tired of the glossy look that everything has today...anyway...

i remember when david fincher was going to direct this.

im going to see it.

I'm not a big skater dude fan but I would like to see this simply because its based on a true story and I'm intrested to the orgin of skaters.

This film looks awesome. Once Sin City comes out, I'll be anxiously awaiting this one.

Ever seen Dogtown and Z Boys? If not, go rent that one before seeing this.

anyone check out the documentary dogtown and z-boys? really well made by one of the guys Stacey Perlata. Anyway, the movie should have come out first and not the other way around...
it seems backwards now. But at least I'm more familiar with who's who. fascinating legacy.
