Hi. Does anybody here author dvds with Encore cs6 ? If yes, when you do (of try to do) a motion menu, does the "loop function" work during preview ? Each time I try to use it, the software behave as is there was no looping point at all and playing the menu from the begining every time instead of playing it from the looping point. I tryed every thing I coud, from starting back the project from scratch to looking for informations on google and couldn't find any solution at all, except that some acknoledgements of that bug exists.

Any help would be welcome (I'm using Sony dvd architect for now, but still...)

Thanks to answer

So you have a menu with an intro/transition, then the body of the menu that has the buttons? and you just want to loop the part with the buttons?
Not super familiar with Encore specifically although I do a ton of DVD work. Generally speaking there needs to be an end command that tells the player where to go at the end of the video. Did you set the end command? Is it set to go to the loop point or just repeat? Also, any buttons or subtitles can't cross a chapter point. This is a spec thing, and not unique to Encore. This would mean that your buttons could only appear after you cross the loop point. Not sure how Encore does it, but there should be a way to specify when the buttons appear.
One way to get around having buttons before the loop point is to duplicate the buttons on both sides of the chapter point (your loop point) but I doubt that Encore is sophisticated enough to do that automatically.

Encore is so weird. Like the loop points do not work at all for me in preview, but when I burn the disc they work fine.
