Looks like Warner Bros is upping thier comic game

Yea, I'm wondering if Warner is doing this to try to sell it off for more than it's worth. I'm not very excted about the properties in DC.

Don't see anyone but thier small fan base seeing these movies, not looking good for toy deals. Possible IPO? Timing would be perfect for an offer in 6 months. Whoards of cash for nothing :)

It's bigger than Spiderman!

Persoanlly, I enjoyed Iron Man a lot more, even though TDK looked pretty awesome in the cinema. But I'm still looking forward to the next Batman flick. Hopefully he becomes the mean, vengeful bastard he was meant to be. Which can possibly lead to the Knightfall/Sword of Azrael storylines for the (inevitable) fourth film.

PICTURE OF A PISSED OFF BATMAN

One story they could turn into one helluva movie would be Kingdome Come. Only after they restore fan faith in the Supes franchise (DO DOOMSDAY STORYLINE(s)!) of course.

My dream Batman movie is Frank Miller's classic "Dark Knight Returns" story with Michael Keaton returning to the role. And yes, I realize that I'm probably pretty alone in that. :D

I could see this but the question is will Clint Eastwood do it. I'm routing for Wonder Woman and JLA. It's going to take awhile for the Avengers to form the way Marvel's going about it. I say do a Nick ury movie and a Captain America flick and bring on the Avengers.

Chip had to be kidding. Until the current crop of Marvel films DC was the only game in town, even their bombs where hits. Their Superman and Batman films were the best selling superhero films going. Watchmen was both loved and hated but it bought a lot light and hype to the comic. This usually doesn't happen but people actually sought out the Watchmen graphic novel. DC is owned by Warner, so they usually get it right.

Can't do this until a JLA film because you have to know what KC was all about. There's almost 75 year or more history behind Kingdom Come, a lot of things would be lost on people, like the fact Mr. Miracle built that new prison for super villains. I remember seeing this and immediately going, OMG, a prison built by the world's greatest escape artist, it's inescapable. (I'm getting goose bumps talking about it as I love this mini series).

I'd like to see a Booster Gold film. This character is one of DCs best. A superhero who really gets no respect but has saved the world at least three times by himself with no one else's knowledge.
