Is there anyone here in the Dallas, tx area that has a Kessler slider I could rent? Looking for pocket dolly 2 or cineslider 2 ft to 3 ft. Thanks... Need for 2 separate days in September.

Bill

MPS and MP&E in Dallas both have mini, 3ft, 4ft, and 5ft sliders that are high-quality, ball-bearing driven, if you can't find someone with a Kessler.

Wow! I called several of the rental houses...they want $125-185/day!!! It's actually cheaper for me to rent from one of those lens rental companies for a week than one day local rental...jeesh.

Man I was thinking $30 to $40 per day, boy was that a bad assumption. With that pricing it makes sense to just buy one.

Thank you again for the information!

Bill

That's pretty standard, though, at least for DFW. And remember, if you shoot over the weekend, that counts as one day. Friday pickup, Saturday, Sunday, Monday morning return usually = one day, depending on the rental company and the item.
