Looking to collaborate on a feature script

[FONT=&quot]I’m new about here, but I figured I’d throw the idea out there and see if anyone was interested. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Basically I’m looking to collaborate with someone on a feature script. I’m open to ideas about what to write on – I’m a versatile person with versatile interests so I guess the script itself would largely depend on what any collaborator was interested in doing.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I’m looking to collaborate for a number of reasons – 1) motivation – I’m a busy person, but working with people has always been a good for me to motivate myself to start and finish projects. 2) experience – I’m a relatively inexperienced screenplay writer, so when I attempt large projects I’m constantly second guessing myself. My writing background is in journalism and criticism (my day jobs), and entirely different format and style, to say the least.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]So basically I see collaboration as the best way for me to get some of my writing ideas onto paper in a form that will be read. If there is anyone interested in teaming up, please PM me. [/FONT]

Have you written one or more features scripts yet? I think that would be a prerequisite before attempting collaborative writing of a feature screenplay, otherwise it could end up being a case of the blind leading the blind. That said, some screenwriting software allows even real time collaborative writing, and google docs is pretty cool for collaborative writing using just the web.
