I just started up my half blog/half portfoilio site at http://www.splatfilms.com
I've got an area on there called Learn Stuff, and with it I'm putting up articles that I feel will help people trying to learn film, in any aspect. So far I've got a few articles of mine, and some posts taken from the CML mailing list. I'm looking for threads or posts people have made on here that are informative to the viewer and really make things click. I am crediting the original authors of any information I throw up on there of course.
I just feel like so many people come to DVXUser and there is SOOOOO much important information available, but as time goes on it get's hidden and buried. So using a variety of net resources, I'm hoping to put a lot of good relevant information together for people to access and enjoy. I also go to film school and am hoping to pass on some of this knowledge to my friends using this site.
If you have written an article, post, or thread that you feel really taught a few things, simple or advanced, or simply helped someone understand something, I'd love to throw it up on there, with a link to the post on DVXUser if requested.
Just PM or e-mail me matthew@splatfilms.com and we can get this started.
