I am currently looking for a writer to do a short screenplay based on an existing short film. Five years ago as a middle school student, I created a short film called Flight 208. It was my first film and can be viewed here. The new film is to be loosely based on that original film with some changes. My purpose with this film is to show all the progress I have made as a filmmaker in the last five years since producing that first film.
- Characters can be changed but should still be in the teenage age group.
- The new story should take place in a middle-America forest region rather than Alaska to be more realistic (this film will be shot in Nebraska).
- Changing from a plane crash to helicopter crash for realism.
- Cut the time frame from several months to a few days.
I need to find a writer for this project soon or I will have to write it myself. We'd like to start filming this project about a month out, so it's a short time-frame project. Once a writer is picked, I will update the thread to announce the selected writer.
Here is my offer to the writer selected to write this screenplay:
- $50 cash prize on delivery of finished script
- screenwriter credit
