Looking for tutorials on Vegas audio

[Lucian]

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on mixing and mastering within Vegas? I have sound forge, but would rather keep it all in vegas. I don't mind paying. I saw some VASST ones, but none really seem to focus on audio and Vegas.

I'd like to know as well.

Everyone always says Vegas has the best audio of all editors. Be really nice to be able to utilize its full functionality. At the moment, I'm totally lame.

"Vegas Pro 8 Editing workshop" by Douglas Spotted Eagle has quite a bit on Vegas and Audio. You can find it on Amazon.

"Digital Video & Audio Production" by Gary Rebholz and Michael Bryant is the Vegas user manual that should be included with Vegas, but isn't. It too can be found on Amazon.

Once you've started, the help files are pretty good.

There may be other resources on the web. Once you have specific questions, a post here will normally bring a solution.

(Keep in mind that this advice is worth exactly what you paid for it. I'm not an expert, don't play one on TV, and didn't stay at the Holiday Inn Express last night. Just like you I'm trying to learn, and this is what I have found so far. )
