I've been successfully using a Gitzo series 3 systermatic carbon tripod with various heads for still photography with heavy lenses (400mm 2.8, 200-400mm f4). I'm using it now with a 75mm head (Manfrotto 519) for video. The video kit (AF100, Vocas base and matte box, various Nikon lenses, Anto Bauer battery, Marshall monitor) weighs about 22 lbs, which is well within load ratings for both sticks and head. The 519 is excellent. However, there is more vibration in the legs than I'm comfortable with. I'm thinking I need to buy another set of sticks. Any recommendations? I do most work on location and therefore want to keep the weight down to the extent possible. Thanks for any suggestions. Jon
