Looking for small handheld camcorder to travel with! Help!!

[JoeNash]

Hey guys,

Well i'm going to be bouncing all over the place for the next few months, and want to record some of my travels, so i'm looking for a CHEAP small handheld camcorder, preferablly that records to a harddrive, so I don't have to worry about tapes and logging and capturing, bla bla, you know.,

anyways its not for projects or anything just my own personal memory factor. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, i'm trying to stay under 400-500ish,

thanks all.

For about $150 you could get a JVC GR-D372U. It's compact, does stills, will record to tape or memory cards, and is cheep enough that if it doesn't survive a trip, it's no big tragedy...
